Aponogeton longiplumulosus, an endemic species of Madagascar, is a very attractive aquatic plant with transparent leaves with fluted margins. Besides A. longiplumulosus, there are aquatic plants with such fluted leaves in Africa, including A. capuronii of the same Aponogeton genus, and Crinum natans and C. calamistratum from the Crinum genus. Although they are all well-known aquatic plants, I couldn’t get over how amazing they look after observing them again.
