“Vertical Style” with fun water flow and epiphytic nature
In this layout, Wabi-Kusa Mats with plants are exposed without overlapping with compositional materials too much on the wall surface. It is a simple style, but it is a way to enjoy the features and concept of System Terra 30 by creating an aspect of water trickling out of rocks, and by allowing epiphytes to grow extensively on the vertical wall surface. There are two key points in creating this style. One is to simulate the flow of water by using compositional materials and plant arrangements. The other is to create a three-dimensional effect with plants on the wall. Planting should be done not only in terms of size, but also in terms of color.
On the wall, plants should be arranged to create the image of flowing water while creating a three-dimensional effect. If the image of flowing water continues into the water, a sense of unity is created in the layout.

“Wild Terra Style” to enjoy the wild taste to the fullest
The powerful composition that is not bound by the aquarium is only possible with the open front and top design of the System Terra 30. By planting epiphytes not only on the wall but also on the three-dimensionally arranged compositional materials, a spectacular layout can be created. The key is to retain water in the branches by effectively using Terra Tape, such as wrapping driftwood with Terra Tape and hanging Terra Tape in a cascade from driftwood leaning against the wall. Also, be careful not to make the planting area on the wall too small, and plant on the wall as well to create a thicker layout.
Coelogyne fimbriata was planted to connect the driftwood to the wall surface. In this way, the compositional material and the wall are integrated.
To ensure that the world view is not interrupted by the water surface, Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Petite’ is developed here in emersed condition.
